Great family restaurant!! The food and drinks were super!! The green chilli was the best!!! Will come back!!

Food was delicious and service was quick even though it was busy. Definitely worth making the stop if you can find a parking spot! Definitely will be stopping again if we come through this town again.

Wish I would've taken a picture of my food but wow everything looked so amazing that we all just dove in! Everyone in my family got something different and since it was our 1st time there we tried each others dishes and it was all delicious!! My fave were the waffles and the cheeseburger WOW I will need to visit again just for that. I highly recommend just as a friend of mine did.

The service, quality of the food, and the price earns this place 5 stars. It gets a little crowded during meal times but it is well worth it. A must if in town or just passing through.

Great Authentic Mexican Food. A must stop and eat place. We had the huevos rancheros and huevos con chilaquiles. Both plates were amazing to the last bite.

The food was alright but the service was pretty excellent! I recommend trying their horchata pretty good! The food can either be to salty dry or just right got a little bit of that but in all it was pretty good for a first experience.

It was the best Mexican food outside gramas. I ate my whole plate. Delish.

Wow! I'm impressed! Food was great!! Salsa, chips, asada tacos, beans, rice and bacon wrapped shrimp was amazing! To finish it off with a sopapillas omg perfect! So happy. I'm extra picky with my Mexican food and I have to say I was great! I can't say great enough! Loved it.

Súper delicious and tasty! As a mexican I trully love this place so much! This place really catches that especial mexican flavour and really good, also the prices are good! Clean place, kind employees, cozy place and the Best are the breakfast! Love it :)

Ever watch Diners, Drive-ins & Dives? This restaurant would fit in perfectly! Simple, delicious meals and a very low price. Great service as well!

The food was outstanding. I would have taken a picture of the food, but it was so good I ate it all before I remembered to take the picture. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Ruidoso. Looking forward to going back.

Jorge's has been a family favorite for many years. It is a small building and seating and parking is limited, but it is worth the wait. Great Mexican dishes. Breakfast is also good.

The food was pretty good.The service was pretty quick for how packed it was.The building is very small and packed so be prepared to be packed in.Our waiter had "pants issues".Our waiter had his pants sagging below his butt and in a restaurant that is way worse than having to see it in public!!

This place is definitely different. The red sauce is unique and has good flavor. The "green sauce," cooked with pork, is also unique...but not nearly as good as the red and doesn't resemble the typical New Mexico green chile sauces you find across the state. The rice and beans were probably the best things on my enchilada plate. At the time of my review, Google had Jorge's rated a 4.4...which I disagree with. I rate it a 3...there are definitely better places here in Ruidoso.

Honest and authentic Mexican fare.

Food was good. Service was alright. To busy for 2 servers. We waited almost 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. As soon as you walk in, they do yell hi and seat yourself. If you are THAT busy, you need extra help in that place. It's small and I'm sure 2 could handle it, BUT, when you lack proper service, it's not worth the good food. Maybe a carry out order would be better next time.

Normally we love Jorge's when traveling to Ruidoso, but this last visit was a tad underwhelming unfortunately! Dang, I will give it another try before giving up though. The food was not as temperature hot and yummy as usual. Service was not as friendly as usual either. Must have been an off Monday for them there! Come on Jorge's let's be consistently Great everyday.

We visited Jorge's while visiting Ruidoso. The salsa was good. It does not serve complimentary queso and tortillas so we ordered them. The tortillas were freshly made and good. I ordered the steak enchiladas and they were good. The green sauce is their mild sauce and I was glad that I ordered it instead of their red sauce. My husband ordered a ground beef burrito and he enjoyed it. I would recommend Jorge's.

This is our favorite restaurant for great Mexican food. The salsa is great and always fresh. Their red chili enchilada sauce is the best I've had anywhere. They have a big menu and it's all great.

This was a great little surprise. Food was great, service was friendly and enjoyable. We were there close to closing and they CLEAN the place. This is a great little gem.

It was my first time here, and man what can I say the place was A M A zinGg⚡️ I ordered the combo plate with an enchilada & tamales with green sauce and I absolutely loved it!! Good Job guys!! And good music 🎶

Really good food and for the right price. Chips and salsa are also great but menu shows they charge for refills, not a fan of that! I got the #30 crispy relleno combo. Comes with beans and rice, I recommend the charro beans.

Believe it or not, this is a good place to eat in town.I ordered a campechana( shp, octupus)Very delicious, actually the best!!The restaurant is clean and service outstanding!!

Excellent food!! We got the enchiladas, tamales, chili relleno, tostada's with green and red sauce and it was all great. The green sauce was my favorite. Salsa for chips was also great! Finished off with some good fried ice cream. Service was excellent. Definitely will be going back.

This place is great! Location is very convenient, right on the main highway through town. It has the menu & delicious authenticity of a "hole-in-the-wall" joint, but it's very clean & has updated furnishings & decorations.The dining space is a little cozy, not very big, so come early to get a table during busy times. Wait staff is super friendly & attentive.The food was excellent. Typical diner breakfast options (bacon, eggs, pancakes, etc.), plus great Mexican offerings as well. I got the breakfast burrito with hash browns, scrambled eggs, chorizo (YES!) & red enchilada sauce. It was huge & very tasty, I highly recommend it.

great tex-mex styled food, excellent service, the guy there was awesome.For non new Mexican folks, this restaurant is basically your generic Mexican food with American styled cooking but presented as authentic as can possibly be. fair prices, great taste, highly recommend for those who want to taste Mexican food without overstepping their comfort zone

Excellent salsa, queso and enchiladas!They've built a brand new deck, spaced the tables out and put the menus on the tabletop under plastic so that everyone feels safe. Great job! Great service! Great food!

Amazing food, tried steak con nopales, had no idea cactus can be this good. Pick up window in covid era was exactly what we needed!

The food and service for us at Jorge's has been outstanding. We had dinner for the first time last week and the green chile enchiladas (meat, egg & sour cream, of course!) were super. It was our first dinner because previously we've only been there for breakfast. There breakfast menu and meals are the best, highly recommended. Go try it!

Recently was in Ruidoso and with the current state of things everything was closed. We managed to find this place and they had outdoor seating! The food was great and they have a awesome seafood soup too, super delicious! The service was great and the server was very attentive and also spoke Spanish! Thank you so much!

Rather busy for 11am on a Monday but the staff were working efficiently and the food was delicious! We had a combination of breakfast and lunch. We sampled the waffle, French toast, and pancakes. All 3 were fantastic and everyone had their own favorite. I would definitely come back if I was in the area again!

Crowded but got seated quickly, huge menu but due to speaking with a lady who is a local recommended her favorites help us a lot on what to choose. The servers were quick and gracious. The food came speedily. All four of our orders were good except for the beans which were undercooked but still edible. We would go back for sure.
